  • WOW, what a great car. - 2013 Ford Fusion Hybrid
    By -

I had no intention of buying a car but took a test drive anyway to kill time while waiting on service. This car is incredible for the price. I love to drive it and without making extreme driving changes am getting 49 MPG. Almost all my driving is considered City. The only optional features on the car are the Ruby paint and floor mats. Everyone who rides in it comments on how quiet it is. If the radio is on, you cannot tell when the gas engine starts and stops unless you look at the gauges. Love this car.

  • The Hybrid for Skeptics - 2013 Ford Fusion Hybrid

I’ve never hit a home run or flown first class, but I feel like I have now. I really couldn’t be happier. I would have to spend $25,000+ more to get a car that would provide me with more satisfaction. But then, I’d feel guilty for spending too much money. I didn’t buy my Fusion expecting to get 47 mpg. I don’t drive the way it takes to get that. I currently get 40 mpg on my 10 mile daily commute. The Fusion will entice even the most stubborn driver (like me) to drive more efficiently and safely. This is my first time driving a Hybrid, and I’m hooked. Ford has made my transition so easy. Up to now, I was one of those who always said “I wouldn’t be caught dead in a Prius".

  • Pleasant surprise - 2013 Ford Fusion Hybrid

I used to have a Ford Escort and a Ford Expedition and my experiences with them made me hesitant to try the Fusion. They were both reliable but uncomfortable, squeaky inside, and the road and wind noise made my ride anything but fun. The Fusion is nothing like them. It is extremely quiet and smooth. The seats are supportive and comfortable. The handling is top notch and since I got the fully loaded version, I have all the fun with the heated seat, navigation, and hill assistant among others. I have almost 1000 miles in her and I get the following fuel consumption. Going by 60-65mph = 45-47 mpg 65-70mph = 40-42 mpg Over 70mph = 38-40 mph Apparently, Ford doesnt want us to speed.

  • Hybrid that doesnt have drawbacks - 2013 Ford Fusion Hybrid

I came out of a Ford Mustang GT, my first american car, in to this car, because I wanted something more practical, I was originally looking at getting the 1.6 with the manual, but decided on the hybrid instead after running the numbers. Well Im really happy! So far Im averaging 45mpg, though currently the car only has 360ish miles on it. Its comfortable, carries a lot, its fast enough, though not a sports car by any means, super smooth, its really great, and of course its absolutely gorgeous inside and out. I have the luxury option so its leather and the My ford touch option, mainly because I think the normal dash looks a little cheap. I was a little scared of the MFT, but its great!

  • Awesome car! Quiet, Comfy and 42.5 Avg MPG! - 2013 Ford Fusion Hybrid

Updated 12-7-2016 I now have 82K miles on the car and have had no mechanical issues with the car. I still love the ride and overall comfort of the vehicle. The fold down rear seat has come in handy for transporting 10 foot lengths of PVC and baseboard trim when our other vehicle is busy. :-) I would highly recommend this car to anyone. Ford has a real hit here. BTW my lifetime fuel economy is 41.7 now and I have a heavy foot! I purchased this car as a work vehicle. I am a salesman who needs a comfortable ride for myself and clients. The Fusion Hybrid SE has been the perfect fit. The car is quiet and road noise is minimal. I have owned mine since May of 2013 and have driven it 68K averaging 42.5 mpg. Rear seat passengers always comment on the comfort and roominess of the rear seating. The 2.0 liter hybrid engine has plenty of pep when you need it and the CVT is smooth. My wife is not a "car person" and prefers trucks and SUVs but has stated on many occasions that she "likes" the Fusion. Overall I really love this car! Positives: Great styling, comfort, quiet ride, great handling, fuel economy, responsive, front and rear seats are very comfortable, auto adaptive cruise is a great feature, fold down rear seat is handy when shopping or carrying long or bulky items. Negatives: Bluetooth voice commands get garbled and people you are talking to on the hands free have trouble hearing you when climate control fan speed is above 40%. I have had to turn off/down the fan to make a hands free call or use voice command gps navigation.

  • Great looking, mileage and price. - 2013 Ford Fusion Hybrid

Ordered from Ford with one option, the sports package. (Wheels and spoiler and sport interior) Very satisfied overall. Sticker said 47-47-47. Turns out it averages for me a solid 40.4 MPG. Ford eventually settled with owners and gave us a $750 rebate to cover the misquoted MPG. Out the door for around 29.5K. Over 35K on it and no complaints. A few minor recalls including reprogramming the computer so it can go up to 80 on the electric motor. (It was 62 when I bought it) All around I really like it.

  • Love this car! - 2013 Ford Fusion Hybrid

I love it! Beautiful inside and out, very comfortable and I get 43MPG average. I drive pretty fast and on a regular bases exceed the MPGs. Its rated at 43 MPG now, so Im happy thats exactly what I get. The stereo is great, and the navigation more accurate than a smart phone. On a trip from SF to LA I have a 1/4 tank left over. Surprises everyone how nice the interior (luxury package w navigation) is. Oh the brakes are great!

  • Best Car I have purchased in years! - 2013 Ford Fusion Hybrid
    By -

Flawless! I have owned just about every make of car from high end US, European & Asian models to entry level cars and trucks. I own 6 different cars and trucks and collector cars. It is fair to say I have experienced many different technologies. My Fusion Hybrid SE is loaded with all the options and has been flawless. At first the mileage was in the mid to high 30s and after 1500 miles I am up to 43mpg. The key is to take into consideration your driving style, road conditions, wind conditions. One thing i quickly learned was to use the cruise control as much as possible as it really helped my mileage. I am very impressed with the build quality, ride and performance of my Fusion! Love it!

  • Outstanding - 2013 Ford Fusion Hybrid

I just purchased the 2013 Ford Fusion Hybrid. I picked the car up in Toledo, Ohio and immediately left for Knoxville, Tennessee. The trip was 450 miles. I drove between 65 and 70 the whole trip. I used cruise control whenever I could and did not hesitate to use the gas pedal when I needed. On this initial trip, I used a little more than 9 ½ gallons of gas for a little over 45 MPG. The next day, I traveled from Knoxville to my home in North Carolina. This trip was about half highway and half two lane mountain roads. On this trip, I got an average of 44.5 MPG. This Ford Fusion Hybrid EPA mileage is achievable. I have not altered my driving patterns and I tend to have a heavy foot. Before purchasing this car, I had search for about 2 months and drove many different models from many different car manufacturer. This is by far the best driving car for the money. Very smooth and comfortable. Road noise is minimal. Base model comes with several nice features. And now with the mileage I am getting, I could not be more pleased.

  • Great Car with a Great Value - 2013 Ford Fusion Hybrid
    By -

I special ordered the car with all the options except for Radar Cruise Control and Lane Change Notification. The car is fantastic. The ride is comfortable and with little road noise. At this point I am averaging about 39MPG. But considering my old car got 18MPG I am very happy with the millage. The most difficult feature in the car is the Ford Sync system. There are a lot of commands and not all of the features in the system are very user friendly. Although I have only be toying with it for 1 week. The car has good performance considering it was built for comfort and fuel efficiency. Styling is great and the interior works very well. This is a great product to own. Well done Ford.
